I'm currently 9 weeks and feeling great. Morning sickness hasn't really developed for me, which I'm VERY thankful for. It's nice not being nauseous and instead to just feel hungry. The meeting with the midwife have gone well. I've had two already. First one to talk about food and nutrition, and the other one to check out my paperwork. I'm all scheduled at OHSU to have my Sequential Screening done which involves a blood draw along with an ultrasound to check for genetic and growth markers to see if there's anything funky going on. That's happening in two weeks. I'm really looking forward to seeing this thing!
We told the family last weekend when we went and saw everyone for a wedding. Bob was a bit nervous about having all three of his kids pregnant at once. =) Debbie was getting stressed out about making another baby quilt. =) My folks were really happy. Apparently, we have to get a new and safe car though (so says my mom). Hehe. Now the only people who don't know is work and school. I'm thinking after this testing in two weeks I'll feel more comfortable telling everyone and just getting it out there in the open.
So yes, that's whats new with the little McG (since apparently that's our new nickname).
