Today at work I told the boss ladies. Everyone except the one I work closest with. Odd how that worked out. But seeing as how she wasn't in today, that made telling her a bit awkward, so hopefully she's in tomorrow and I can just get everyone taken care of.
I had a bit of a freak out on Tuesday regarding budgeting and my job. I sent an email to the boss ladies asking if I should look for work or if there was enough in the pipeline to support me for the next year. Well it all ended up being just an emotional wreck for me and I have no need to worry about my job. If it does come to that, I will be told months in advance and most likely kept on until I found a different place of employment. So based on those crazy emotions I thought it best to explain my out-of-control email with news of my pregnancy, even though I don't have ultrasound proof that all is well. I thought it would make me look less crazy. =)
Head boss lady was really supportive and gave me a hug. Almost made me cry. She's just a warm person- at least what I've seen of her. =) Second boss lady was happy for me, got my freak-out and then gave me more work to do. "Can have you getting lazy just because you're pregnant." But it was a cute joke and not said in a mean way or anything. Now I just have to tell third boss lady! The rest of my co-workers are really happy for me.
