Christmas

Christmas came a little late this year, but it was totally worth it. D got me a step bench!

My normal workout place (parks and rec) canceled their Thursday class for the rest of the month because of low attendance. It's been the same number of people since I started going there and I really don't see there being a change in the next two weeks. So needless to say I was quite annoyed. My work schedule is pretty limiting so I can't make the well-attended classes, nor do I want to go to the weight/toning ones on MWF. I want my aerobic step classes.

You.Tube helped a bit with some videos and music, but I didn't have a step bench. Then I made a bench out of a piece of wood and some plastic tubs. And then Christmas came! And D got me a bench! I am totally stoked.

Protocols haunt my world. They just never seem to end. Until of course they do. And things are submitted and approved and life goes on.

This reminds me of painting. It just never seems to end. Always things to paint- second coat in the backroom, touch up ceilings, touch up walls, paint mudroom, laundry room. Perhaps one of these days these tasks will end as well. Probably after the nasty carpet has been removed and the house becomes a bit more put together.

Husband wonders why I read strangers blogs... after awhile they don't become so strange.

I'm a bit random today, but I guess that's okay given the name of this blog.

Oh! I just realized that it was January and I haven't made any resolutions. I'm liking the idea of posting here at least once a week. We'll see if I can keep that one going.

New happenings

Well I've started this a few times now. First it was a 'private' ranting space, but then I didn't really like it. So I've deleted those and I'm moving on to something more. Perhaps I'll update this more frequently, but not with anything all that note worthy. We'll see what becomes of this space. Perhaps a place for cool picture posting and small tid-bits of my life. Should be an interesting ride.
